Wow.

That went quick.

Since 30t November, I’ve been using FilmGeeky as my outlet for my thoughts and observations on the films that I’ve been watching. And I’m loving it.

I’ve found it more challenging that I’d been expecting beforehand with shaping my views and forming them into some attempt at coherency rather than ‘I just didn’t like it’ which I’ve probably been guilty of in the past.

The process has forced me to reflect far more on the reasons for whether I enjoy a film or not, and helped to identify patterns and processes within he films themselves that I wouldn’t have picked up on before.

To the films themselves, only 5 have received 10/10 and only one of these was film that I hadn’t seen before – Spotlight – which I still think is the best new film I’ve seen in the last 12 months. The Big Short is a close second.

I also wanted to say thank you to those that have taken time to read, like and comment posts that I’ve created. I’ve found your input and feedback motivatitonal and engaging.
